Love & (Pe)ace is an upcoming week event celebrating ace headcanons in the Trigun fandom, running in 2026! (dates to be determined)
Q: What is this event about?
Love & Pe(ace) is about celebrating ace headcanons in the Trigun fandom. There are prompts for each day of the week, and you're invited to share your Trigun + Asexuality-themed creations during that time.Q: Are ace spectrum headcanons allowed?
Of course! We're using 'ace' broadly. All headcanons within the spectrum are welcome.Q: When is it?
It will run in 2026, alongside Trigun Stargaze.Q: Is NSFW and/or Dead Dove allowed?
Overall yes, but please read our guidelines!Q: Which characters, canons, and ships are allowed?
All Trigun characters, canons and ships are welcome. The only requirement is for all ships to be properly tagged for easy muting.Q: Who is modding this event?
This event is organized by @beesinspades (BlueSky/Tumblr)
IMPORTANT TAGGING REMINDERS (to use alongside the regular tag, #AceTrigunWeek, and/or Ace Trigun Week on Tumblr)NSFW content: you're free to approach any of the prompts in a NSFW way. Use Bluesky's filters and warn about the contents of your post in the caption.Sensitive/Dead Dove content: clear warning in your post and AO3 tags. Appropriate filters must be activated.Ships: all ships must be tagged, with their complete ship name (vashwood, millymeryl, etc) for easier muting. Positions/dynamics tags (vw, kv, etc) are required for NSFW submissions. (But don't forget to use the general ship name as well!) They are not required for SFW submissions. It is your responsibility to mute / activate filters of what you do not wish to see.
Posts that do not respect these guidelines won't be reshared.ABOUT SENSITIVE CONTENT
Explicit depictions of noncon as well as sexual content involving children are not allowed. However, non-explicit depictions of difficult topics (ex: a piece exploring the aftermath of corrective rape) are allowed. These limits are mainly for the mod's comfort, and not a judgment of anyone's character.ON CENSORSHIP
All ships are still welcome, and everyone is invited to participate regardless of the fictional content they share and/or create. We trust that our participants know how to use the mute and block buttons as they see fit, and no harassment will be tolerated.ACE SPECTRUM?
The entire spectrum of asexuality is of course welcome. Do not hesitate to include, for example, demi and grayace headcanons!ACE =/= ARO
Please do not confuse aro headcanons with ace headcanons. Aromantic-only headcanons will be considered out of topic since ace =/= aro. That said, aroace headcanons and platonic relationships are more than welcome; submissions do not need to be about shipping, just about asexuality.FITTING THE THEME
Your submissions must explore asexuality and/or include ace headcanons in any shape or form, and to any degree.
As long as your creation fits the prompt, was made with an ace headcanon in mind, and was made specifically for the event, it will be accepted. For writing, stating the specific words is not mandatory, but your headcanon(s) must be at the very least implied in some way. This is of course subjective, so we won’t be too strict, but please try to stay in the week’s theme.ABOUT CANONs AND AUs
All Canons, AUs and settings are welcome.ABOUT SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be new* and your own, but you’re allowed to write a sequel to a previous work, or draw fanart of existing works (as long as it fits one of the days' prompts). Use of AI in any shape or form is prohibited, and you will be straight up blocked.*On Free Day, you're allowed to share old creations that fit the event's theme.ABOUT DAYS
You may skip any days, create several works for the same day, mix prompts, or use a new day as a sequel to a previous day.LATE?
Late submissions will be reshared up to two weeks after the last day of the event.AO3 COLLECTION
Writers (and artists!), there is an AO3 collection for your submissions that will open the day before the event starts.TAG US!
Don’t forget to tag your tweets and posts with #AceTrigunWeek (and/or Ace Trigun Week on Tumblr) so that your creations may be easily searchable and shared on the event’s account. Do not hesitate to DM us if after 24 hours, you haven't been reshared yet.
The theme of this second edition is:
SUBVERTING TROPESWhat does this mean? The prompts this time will be associated with tropes that generally lead to sex and/or sexual attraction. We invite you to explore these tropes from an asexual headcanons perspective.Without further ado, here are our prompts:DAY 1DAY 2DAY 3DAY 4DAY 5DAY 6DAY 7
