love & pe(ace)

Love & Pe(ace) is an upcoming week event celebrating ace headcanons in the Trigun fandom, running in 2026 (dates to be determined)!art: @robomori

Q: What is this event about?
Love & Pe(ace) is about celebrating ace headcanons in the Trigun fandom. There are prompts for each day of the week, and you're invited to share your Trigun + Asexuality-themed creations during that time.
Q: Are ace spectrum headcanons allowed?
Of course! We're using 'ace' broadly. All headcanons within the spectrum are welcome.
Q: When is it?
It will run in 2026, alongside Trigun Stargaze.
Q: Is NSFW and/or Dead Dove allowed?
Overall yes, but please read our guidelines!
Q: Which characters and ships are allowed?
All Trigun characters and ships are welcome. The only requirement is for all ships to be properly tagged for easy muting.
Q: Can there be romance?
Yes! In fact, aromantic-only headcanons will be considered out of topic since ace =/= aro. But aroace headcanons and platonic relationships are more than welcome; submissions do not need to be about shipping.
Q: Who is modding this event?
This event is organized by @beesinspades (Twitter/Tumblr)

IMPORTANT TAGGING REMINDERS (to use alongside the regular tag, #AceTrigunWeek, and/or Ace Trigun Week on Tumblr)
NSFW content: use bsky's filters and warn about the contents of your post in the caption.
Sensitive content: clear warning in your post and AO3 tags.
Ships: all ships must be tagged, with their complete ship name for easier muting. (vashwood instead of just vw, plantcest instead of kv, etc. You may use position/dynamics tags, but don't forget to use the general ship name as well!)
It is your responsibility to mute / activate filters of what you do not wish to see.
Posts that do not respect these guidelines won't be reblogged/retweeted.
ON CENSORSHIP
All ships are still welcome, and everyone is invited to participate regardless of the fictional content they share and/or create. We trust that our participants know how to use the mute and block buttons as they see fit, and no harassment will be tolerated.
ACE SPECTRUM?
The entire spectrum of asexuality is of course welcome. Do not hesitate to include, for example, demi and grayace headcanons!
ACE =/= ARO
Please do not confuse aro headcanons with ace headcanons. Aromantic-only headcanons will be considered out of topic since ace =/= aro.
AROACE AND PLATONIC RELATIONSHIPS = YES!
Aroace headcanons and platonic relationships are more than welcome; submissions do not need to be about shipping, just about asexuality.
FITTING THE THEME
Your submissions must explore asexuality and/or ace headcanons in any shape or form, and to any degree.
- For art, as it is sometimes more difficult to convey ace headcanons depending on the prompt, as long as your creation fits the prompt, was made with an ace headcanon in mind, and was made specifically for the event, it will be accepted.
- For writing, stating the specific words is not mandatory, but your headcanon(s) must be at the very least implied. This is of course subjective, so we won’t be too strict, but please try to stay in the week’s theme.
ABOUT AUs
All AUs and settings are welcome.
ABOUT DAYS
You may skip any days, create several works for the same day, mix prompts, or use a new day as a sequel to a previous day.
ABOUT SUBMISSIONS
Submissions must be new* and your own, but you’re allowed to write a sequel to a previous work, or draw fanart of existing works (as long as it fits one of the day's prompts).
*On Free Day, you're allowed to share old creations that fit the event's theme.ABOUT NSFW
NSFW is accepted and you're free to approach any of the prompts in a NSFW way. Please remember to properly use filters AND warn for it in the caption.
ABOUT SHIPS
All ships must be properly tagged for easy muting.
ABOUT SENSITIVE CONTENT
Sensitive content such as Dead Dove is accepted to some extent, as long as it fits the prompt(s), but it must be properly warned for and the appropriate filters must be activated.
Explicit depictions of noncon and dubcon as well as sexual content involving children are not allowed. However, non-explicit depictions of these topics (ex: a piece exploring the aftermath of corrective rape) are allowed. These limits are mainly for the mod's comfort, and not a judgment of anyone's character.LATE?
Submissions are accepted up to a week after the last day of the event.
AO3 COLLECTION
Writers (and artists!), there is an AO3 collection for your submissions! that will open the day before the event starts.
